Coastal Bend Day of Giving
Habitat for Humanity Corpus Christi, Inc. is proud to be participating in the Coastal Bend Day of Giving – a 24-hour charitable challenge administered by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation. The online matching gift event will take place November 9th from midnight to midnight. Mark your calendars because we will need your help! We will be joining local nonprofits to raise money together. This year, 27 local funders have pledged $1.2 million in matching grants. The amount donated will be matched and doubled, up to $21,800 per organization, each raising at least $43,600 in just 24 hours!
The Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a one-day event led by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits through online fundraising. It is a community-wide event to show off the Coastal Bend’s spirit of giving, raise awareness about local nonprofits, and celebrate the collective effort it takes to make this area great.
How can you help HFHCC during the Coastal Bend Day of Giving?
- Schedule a gift! For your convenience, you can schedule gifts between November 1 and November 8 through “Early Giving”. You can make your donations early to be charged to your credit or debit card or by electronic check on the day made.
- Donate to us on November 9th! You can find our page by clicking on this link.
- Spread the word! Tell your friends that you will be giving to HFHCC during the Coastal Bend Day of Giving on November 9th and that you need their help.
- Post about Coastal Bend Day of Giving on your social media pages. Let your friends and followers know how they can give and how their donations can help you meet the match.
- Cheer us on! On November 9th, watch the total raised increase on coastalbenddayofgiving.org and update our progress on your social media.
- Save the date. November 9, 2021, will be a great day of generosity in the Coastal Bend. Get excited and ready to share your enthusiasm for HFHCC throughout the day.
